BioChoice, Biogen's flexible benefit program, allows employees to tailor their benefits to their individual situation by choosing from a menu of benefit options on an annual basis. Biogen helps cover the cost of the benefits employees choose by providing a certain amount of BioCredits - tax-free money - for their purchase. Here is a summary of the options available through BioChoice.
Biogen employees may select dental insurance coverage for themselves and their families through the Delta Dental Plan. Preventive care (cleanings, X-rays) is covered 100% with no deductible. For most dental services, Delta Dental pays 80% of costs up to a maximum annual benefit of $2,000 per person, after an annual deductible of $50 per person or $150 per family has been satisfied. A $1,000 maximum lifetime orthodontia benefit is also provided for persons under age 19.
