BioChoice, Biogen's flexible benefit program, allows employees to tailor their benefits to their individual situation by choosing from a menu of benefit options on an annual basis. Biogen helps cover the cost of the benefits employees choose by providing a certain amount of BioCredits - tax-free money - for their purchase. Here is a summary of the options available through BioChoice.
Biogen employees may choose to purchase life insurance coverage of $25,000 for a spouse and coverage of $10,000 for each child over six months old. Coverage is also available for children less than six months old equal to $1,000 per child.
