Our employees have a long-standing tradition of supporting public service activities.
We sponsor clothing drives, blood drives, and many activities such as Daffodil Days, Easter Seals Volleyball, Habitat for Humanity, and many walk-a-thons such as the MS Walk and Boston's Walk for Hunger.
If cycling is more your speed then be part of the Biogen Rolling Clones Bicycling Team and participate in "Tour the Vineyard", "WB56 Great Mass Getaway", "Surf & Turf: New Hampshire" or "Bike the Berkshires" all of which support the MS Society of New England, and MS-150 Bike-a-thon which benefits the MS Society of NC.
If you would rather get involved in an activity on water rather than land you can take part in the Run of the Charles Canoe Race to benefit the Charles River Watershed.
Biogen recognizes the importance of partnering with non-profit organizations that work to build strong relationships between industry and individuals. Here are just a few of the organizations we are proud to work with.
The Biomedical Science Career Program provides students of all races, ethnic backgrounds, gender and financial status with encouragement, support and guidance needed for the successful pursuit of careers in biomedical sciences.
The North Carolina Biotechnology Center mission is to provide long-term economic benefit to North Carolina through support of biotechnology research, development and commercialization statewide. Check out their Bioworks Program.
The First in America Foundation lays out an ambitious initiative to make North Carolina's schools the best in the nation by 2010.
Biogen also supports Cambridge and RTP-based social service organizations and schools with donations, grants, computers, and technical resources.
