Lymphotoxin-Beta Receptor

Lymphotoxin-Beta Receptor (LT beta receptor) pathway controls critical early and late events in the autoimmune cascade and serves as a novel access point to modulate the immune system. It is in Phase I trials. Biogen is developing its LT beta receptor blocking agent as a potential treatment for certain autoimmune diseases. Biogen scientists in collaboration with academic colleagues discovered the LT beta receptor pathway. Biogen developed this product candidate internally and expects to own worldwide rights.
